About this HUD
This HUD includes lots of features we’ve long wanted to incorporate into some of our previous products.Firstly, just like in the WEC HUD, we have previews of the cars on the track with their respective skins – no need to use the showroom car preview or anything like that. Here, you simply install it, launch it and use it; leave the hard work to us.In leaderboard mode, the HUD can display the gap to the leader or the time difference between drivers, as well as a clear preview of their respective cars.Then there’s the onboard mode, where you can customise the unique sponsors for each driver (this applies to both offline and online modes; you can configure all these settings via the included app settings to make the relevant changes to the HUD).We’ve also included a race timer that shows the session type, session time and lap count.We have the lap timing system based on the real-life NLS system used in their broadcasts, which displays a preview; you can also add multiple widgets by right-clicking on the drivers in the leaderboard.Finally, as with all our HUDS, the settings app allows you to control all customisation options, changes and everything that goes with them, such as adding classes, changing a car’s make (for licensed mods), as well as the keybinds for managing the leaderboard, without having to constantly open and use the settings appAs this is an early version, it may contain a few bugs, but don’t worry – we’ll keep refining it, just as we’ve been doing with all our content and HUDs to date.In the next update, we’ll be adding a horizontal leaderboard to display the entire grid, as well as the other missing elements such as the pit stop sign and the position battle indicator.
IMPORTANT: as this HUD relies heavily on generating previews of the cars’ 3D models, the game may freeze briefly when you open the app upon launching the simulator. This is completely normal, as the HUD is pre-rendering all the cars present in the session; once it has finished, the FPS will return to normal.
Installation processTo install, simply drag the ZIP file into the Content Manager and then click on install.CSP version 0.2.8 or higher is required.
